GENESIS.....The Making of AVN

Shri N. S. Sekhsariaji – The Man behind the Vision

The founder of beautifully architected Nepalese Pagoda-styled edifice Ambuja Vidya Niketan, Ambujanagar – the then Ambuja’s Educational Institute (AEI’S) Ambuja Vidya Niketan in the year 1991

The school was started with a handful of students and a small number of teachers. Though the conception of this historic feat had already taken place in the form of Tiny Tots in the year 1987

After completing on academic session successfully, the school adopted the functioning of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan – a reowned educational trust, in the year 1992, for broadening the horizon in the field of education and thus the school metamorphosed into Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s (BVB’s) Ambuja Vidya Niketan, under the management of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, supported by Ambuja Organization only

The year 2005 to be underlined and highlighted in the history of AVN, as witnessed and underwent a radical transition when the school split away from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavans’ tag and eventually culminated into (AEI’S) Ambuja Vidya Niketan with its own management

A revolutionary feat took place in the year 2006 when Ambuja Vidya Niketan trust (AVNT) was formed. The AVNT executed its functioning from April, 2007 and AEI’S Ambuja Vidya Niketan ripened into AVNT’s Ambuja Vidya Niketan, Ambujanagar from the academic session 2007-08

The trust AVNT became the sole governing and authorized umbrella over not only Ambuja Vidya Niketan, Ambujanagar but also another four Ambuja Group Schools in the states of Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Himachal Pradesh

On 26^th January, 2006 one more feather was added to AVN’s cap when the school playground at Ambujanagar was inaugurated by Mr. A.J.Pandya, the then Vice Chairman, School Management Committee and Senior Vice President (System & Audit)

On the occasion of Ambuja Cements Silver Jubilee in the year 2011, a unique tradition got off the ground when Shri N.S.Sekhsariaji announced a scholarship for the meritorious students

Today the school has sprawled over 15.5 acre land with the pristine natural ambience. 

This edifice for education is a rare attraction not only for educators and students but also entire education – fraternity

This rare marvel of architecture cannot be found in the entire Saurashtra region and in Gujarat

To date, there are five Ambuja Group Schools all told in the different parts of the country, thus expanding the horizon and transcending the limitations while imparting quality education by qualified and experienced teachers
